At JCON 2022, I had two sessions: The first one was about “How to TDD In Legacy Code“, and its other TDD partner in crime: “How to TDD a REST API”.

In this one I build a couple of APIs, using the principles of TDD in around twenty steps. Lots of code (in Java, it’s a Java CON, you see), and more interestingly – it really takes the principles of TDD and test-first, breaks them down into both API tests and real unit tests, so the code works, with proof, and easy to maintain.

Check out my “Deep Dive TDD” and the “API Testing for developers” workshop where we go deep into these principles.

Enjoy!
