But the picture is fuzzy. It doesn’t show where the real problems are — the ones quietly putting the brakes on everything AI was supposed to accelerate.
The dashboard says green. But the tests being added aren’t the ones that catch bugs. AI is writing code faster than anyone can read or verify it — and the organizational knowledge of what the system actually does is not keeping up. Flaky tests eat hours nobody can afford to lose.
The gap between what leadership sees and what’s actually happening isn’t caused by bad people. It’s caused by distance. And the longer it goes unexamined, the more expensive it gets.
Here's How We Work Together.
We start with a scoping conversation – what to focus on, which teams to include, how to timebox the work. Then I go in. I interview your team leads, tech leads, developers and testers. I review how they work, what tools they use, what they produce, and how they test it.
At the end, you get a written report and a live presentation of findings and recommendations. Not a generic checklist. A specific picture of your org – what’s working, what isn’t, and what it’s costing you.
Most audits start with two to three teams. Larger engagements surface preliminary findings along the way, so you’re never waiting on a big reveal.
Mentoring usually follows an Audit – we’ve identified the priorities, now we work on them. Sessions are driven by what needs to happen, not a fixed schedule.
For hands-on technical work, I sit with your people – in the office or virtually – on their actual code and their actual processes. For leadership and planning challenges, it’s more on-demand: working with team leads and managers on the decisions in front of them.
This isn’t coaching. It’s working.

Every engagement is different. The org is different, the teams are different, the problems are different.
But the approach is consistent: Go deep, talk to the people doing the work, read what they’re actually producing, and tell you the truth about what I find.
A recent quality audit covered four development groups, multiple CI pipelines, legacy test frameworks, and organizational behaviors that had never surfaced at the VP level. The report ran to 25 pages. The presentation ran longer. Some of what came out of it, the VP had no idea was happening inside their own org.
That’s the point.
